A
mostly level 2.5-mile day hike through forest to the beautiful Cedar Lake
Basin, home to over 10 species of native conifers and the elusive and
unusual California Ground Cone. We will observe the aquatics Bog-Bean
and Yellow Pond Lily, the tiny carnivorous Roundleaf Sundew, and meadows
of Gentian and Alpine Shooting Star along with many other native species.
