If you are a resort skier looking beyond the boundaries to find the fresh snow, this is the place to start. The day will be a discussion and practice of the skills necessary for you to experience the joy of backcountry skiing and boarding. Randonne, telemark, or splitboard gear; skinning, powder seeking, avalanche awareness, etc will all be discussed as we travel through the snow covered Mount Shasta Backcountry
