A two day climb on Shasta's most popular route follows the traditional way favored by the legendary John Muir. On the first day, we hike to Horse Camp, where we spend the evening and are given instruction in basic fundamentals of mountaineering. The next day an alpine start begins our journey to the summit. The two day schedule is a great challenge for those who are fit and prepared for a big summit day.
